WHAT WE DO

We work with our partners, the Wildlife and Environmental society of Malawi and the Malawi Federation of co-operatives on:

​

• Bamboo planting in small lots to quickly provide a sustainable fuel source eliminating the need for cutting mature trees which has devastated huge areas of Malawi and Africa generally.

• Protection, restoration, and planting of indigenous tree species chosen by communities to provide an income and increase biodiversity and climate resilience.

• Building a co-operative infrastructure to develop other projects to address specific local needs.

• Reporting and responding to our members and co-operative donors to build confidence and help scale up successes by the application of principal 6: co-operation amongst co-operatives​
