Co-operative Climate Action is run by volunteers and depends on its members and other co-operatives to fund projects until they are financially sustainable.
Rather than a financial return, each £10 bond yields the removal of an estimated 37.5 kg per annum of CO2 from the atmosphere whilst helping communities in Malawi tackle the impacts of climate change. This is based on the conservative assumptions detailed in the Climate Action Bonds page.
Show your support for our aims and become an active member helping those hit hardest by the changing climate.
You will receive an electronic membership certificate and be able to exert your influence on the choice of projects and overall direction of your co-operative by on line voting. You will also receive copies of our reports and accounts.
Help those hit by climate change the co-operative way.Many businesses are 'offsetting' their carbon emissions but we believe that 'compensating for' is a more realistic term. Helping empower young people develop small businesses to increase community resilience is a great way of doing this
